Starting with the hand
Every season begins with a box of swatches from small mills in Gyeonggi and Inner Mongolia. We wear them, wash them and leave them on a chair for a week before we decide anything.
The ones that soften rather than fade make it to a sample. Most do not.
Why it matters
A good wool coat should look better in year five than on day one. Choosing the fibre slowly is how we make sure it can.
